What you may not know is that I am MISS JOLIE (children's entertainer), and I perform everyday, multiples times a day (sometimes up to 4 shows in a day!).
I want to explain how these two things are related, so you can better understand why I'm so passionate about encouraging other's to exercise daily (#MOVEfor10!)
Exercise is a trade in your time that gives back in dividends! YES, you get that immediate WIN of a daily mood boost, & so more over time if done consistently. The best part is that all you need is 10 minutes (if 10 minutes is still too much, then just show up for 5 minutes!) and be open to the experience of getting your heart rate up & connecting your mind & body.
As busy working Mama (who once upon a time exercised hours a day as a trainer/fitness instructor), I have found that having a 10 minute daily movement goal is magical! It just WORKS. It keeps me feeling victorious, motivated, healthy, strong, and most of all feeling HAPPY. It's also the ONE single thing that I credit in my ability to continue thriving in following my dreams & sharing the best parts of me as "Miss Jolie"!
YES to greeting each day with HAPPINESS- enthusiasm, creativity, and positivity! I want to feel good, and the "good feels" flow in much more effortlessly when I prioritize clearing my mind each morning through the avenue of movement.
In a world where there is so much we can’t control, THIS we can- how we react to our thoughts and emotions, and the action steps we prioritize each day to taking responsibility for our mental & physical health.
It's vital that we work on feeling our best, and raising the bar on what exactly that is. Through this never ending learning process, we can continue working on showing up for the people we love and the things that matter to us, in alignment with our highest selfs!
Start viewing each day as a practice to unveil your best self. To SHOW up and do the work and earn the good feels! Make your movement a declaration to yourself - "I AM HERE, I SHOW UP, I FIGHT TO FEEL MY BEST!"
